Having fallen in love with charm packs I’ve been wanting to work with one for a couple of months now. When I saw this batik I knew it was time to dive in. But, what should I do with it plagued me. Off I went online in search of a “stupendous” charm pack project and found the Sweet Sixteen Charm Square Tote Bag pattern. I tell ya, people on the Internet are so generous with their talents, help, and advice. I would never have come up with this pattern on my own. The pattern uses 16 charm squares (ya think?). I purchased additional batik fabric in complimentary green for the tote handles.

4/6/2014 – Sat down this afternoon to sew squares together.
Stay tuned as I provide updates to this project and thanks for stopping by.
Always having to make do I had to use what I had on hand for batting. Look at this hot mess as I pieced batting together. Thankfully, the other side of the bag was fitted with one piece of batting.
Yay! I’m done yaw’ll.
