Vintage Style Apron Simplicity 4282

Made the deadline for the February Make A Garment A Month Challenge. Well, at least for the Simplicity 4282 vintage style apron. Working with cotton is so easy and nice. I like the crispness of it.

I almost hate to wipe my hands all over this apron. Perhaps as I accumulate dozens of them it’ll be less of an issue. The wiping on my clothes was a definite no-no.

Simplicity 4282 Apron – I’ll be making the half apron with the rick rack.

With vintage style being my “thing” these days I am thinking the ric rack adds a vintagey look to this apron. Wish I had some vintage fabric to make this with but I’ll have to use what I can find on hand. Stay tuned for the fabric that makes the cut.
