With my upcoming granny on the way there is much crocheting, sewing, and quilting to be done. I’ve started with this crocheted diaper cover. It has been eons since I last crocheted baby things. This cute pattern is found at SweetPotatoPatterns. It is so simple that I whipped up two over the last two days.
It’s been a while since I’ve been around a tiny baby so the white diaper cover seems kinda big so I decided to make another one with a smaller hook.
As an afterthought I added picot edging. It’s such a dainty stitch. For the bow I made a chain and added a row of slipped stitches, tied into a bow and sewed it to the front of the diaper cover. The bow on the pink and white cover is also pink and white though it is difficult to tell from the photograph.
